Ever considered joining a local soccer league? In a recent study, it was discovered that soccer players lost more fat and gained more muscle mass than joggers. Joggers were found to rely mostly on slow-twitch muscle fibers. Soccer players used both fast and slow-twitch muscle fibers, as the pace of the game requires both intense and moderate work.
